Electronic riding modes include Rain , Road and Dynamic . I have a feeling most experienced riders will be happiest in Dynamic , as it is the most rewarding from a power perspective . My guess is that Rain will only be used in truly appalling weather around a city as it cuts throttle response significantly . Road is okay , but just okay , a little bland for my liking … each to their own here . No judgements . There is also Automatic Stability Control ( ASC ), or traction control to most people . It will definitely kill off unwanted wheel spin , but it ’ ll also stop wheelie fun . Yes , I know not everyone likes wheelies , so , again , each to their own .
While the 2021 R Nine T looks largely similar to previous iterations of the model , the new 46mm USD fork , which is fully adjustable , is probably the biggest news . The update is certainly a big plus in my book - as the previous fork was okay , but it couldn ’ t be adjusted to personal preference . The new fork is a big step-up in performance and adds a degree of staunchness to the BMW ’ s bruiser look . I ’ m sure the fork ’ s greater capabilities will be much appreciated by new owners after the fairly average non-adjustable conventional forks of older models .
