changes the bike ’ s ignition timing – in theory this means the bike will increase acceleration and increase traction , ultimately making for a better start when racing . There are three different power settings that can be changed
in different terrain conditions depending on the amount of grip and the track layout . I think the 2018 KX250F is an outstanding bike with a great power delivery which could be used for both racing and trail riding . The bike exceeded my expectations in many different areas , especially the clutch feel , braking and power delivery . The only minor thing which I didn ’ t like was how hard the air filter was to access , this may be testament to how easy the KTM is , but this is one thing I picked up on . Overall I think this is an outstanding bike which can be both raced and trail ridden by a wide range of rider abilities .
