simple feature , but fantastic - you can use this on-track without needing to wait to return to your car . 10 / 10 here folks . On track this softness is nice , but some time spent making sure the set-up suits you would be good - I didn ’ t really have time for that , so I see more potential with just a few clicks . I can ’ t be too critical here and I was happy enough doing no meaningful prep . I sent it well beyond the landing point on one of the hill crest jumps into a harsh , flat landing . The new Hydrostops effectively took away the expected harsh impact , which was , hands-down , a position you don ’ t willingly enter . With the Hydrostops , I could send it without thoughts turning to “ Oops , please let me live !”.
WEIGHTY CONCERN It must be said that the weight is not much different to a 450 , but it certainly does feel notably lighter and more nimble . I heard mention prior to testing , that when riding the 350 feels about 10kg lighter , which might be a fair comment , but I will talk more about that later . The engine for this year is credited with significant changes like higher compression , two degrees of rearward angle added and a lower sprocket location combined with revised Pankle cut gears and the DS ( diaphragm steel ) clutch . Great , well , what does this mean ? Basically , it ’ s built well with durability in mind and tweaks to the centralisation of the engine . It is noticeable and does feel improved , the power spread is nice
