Triumph ’ s Street Triple range sees an upgrade for 2023 with Triumph touting its 2023 bikes as the most powerful yet off the back of development gains made through the Moto2 competition . Sad news for LAMS Street Triple fans , as Triumph has officially stopped production of the 660cc variant of the Street Triple with the Trident 660 now fulfilling the needs of LAMS riders . With the 660 out of the picture , the entry to the Street Triple range is now the Street Triple R , with the range also gaining a limited edition Moto2 model to sit above the Street

The Moto2 Edition is limited to just 765 examples of each of its two colour schemes worldwide , with the bike instantly recognisable thanks to its gold Öhlins NIX30 forks and STX40 shock , clip on handlebars with machined top yolk with the bike ’ s serialised number on display , and of course the official Moto2 logo dotted around the bike ’ s lightweight carbon fibre bodywork . Styling has been updated to more closely match the Speed Triple once again , while power from the 765cc engine is now rated at 118.4bhp at 11,500rpm for the R model and 128.2bhp at 12,000rpm for the RS and Moto2 models .
