KTM and Husqvarna have announced changes for their 2023 LC4 enduro ranges , with the 690 and 701 Enduro both gaining a fresh new look for 2023 . We have to admit , KTM ’ s marketing team must be stoked with their efforts recently . Touting the announcement a day ahead of time with the tag “ Something New is Coming ” getting many of us frothing at the prospect of a new model from KTM , possibly the rumoured 490 series . What we actually got was the announcement of the 2023 KTM 690 Enduro R which was quickly followed by the Husqvarna 701 Enduro , with both bikes receiving visual updates for 2023 and little else . As far as we can tell , the 690 gained a different , flatter seat and the 701 gained a USB socket . Yep , it ’ s a dreaded Bold New Graphics update , but , admittedly , KTM and Husqvarna don ’ t really have much left to improve upon with the LC4 platform .
