LIMITED EDITION TRIUMPHS

Triumph Motorcycles has unleashed a special edition blitz with a new range of special bikes covering the firm ’ s Modern Classic line and the imposing Rocket 3 . Set to be available for a single model year only , the latest editions add to the already extensive Triumph lineup bringing an extra classy option for discerning buyers in a number of ways . There are the Gold Line Editions , which follow the success of the sold-out Street Twin Gold Line Edition launched earlier in 2021 , and three new special edition models , with the Street Twin EC1 , Thruxton RS Ton Up and Rocket 3 221 all joining the range for 2022 only . The new models all add styling touches to update the models based around core themes unique to each , with the bikes remaining structurally the same as the base models .

Gold Line Editions The new range of eight Bonneville Gold Line Editions takes the latest generation models and adds a hand-painted ‘ gold line ’ colour scheme to each . Showcasing the hand-painted gold lining skills of Triumph ’ s expert paint shop and reflecting customer demand for brighter and more custom-inspired schemes , the new Bonneville Gold Line Editions bring a unique style and premium hand-painted detail to eight motorcycles in the Triumph Modern Classic range . Most of the new Gold Line Edition designs start with a two-colour base scheme , where the joining point between the two colours is flattened down . The gold line is then carefully hand-applied , usually in one continuous stroke by the artist , who uses a very specialised soft-bristled sword-liner brush . Once the pin stripe is in place , it ’ s sealed against the elements with a final clear coat of lacquer . Triumph says the paints used for the gold lining are specially formulated by mixing a powdered colour with a cellulose lacquer for exactly the right consistency , as normal automotive paint is too thin for brushwork . Just like every hand-lined Triumph , the artist adds the finishing detail to each Gold Line Edition by signing their work with their initials , providing a personal touch that makes every hand-painted Triumph extra special .
Street Twin EC1 The new Street Twin EC1 Special Edition takes its inspiration from the vibrant custom-classic motorcycle culture of London ’ s East End – particularly the historic streets of EC1 , the London postcode which has given the bike its name . Setting the EC1 apart is a stunning new Matt Aluminium Silver and Matt Silver Ice fuel tank design that features subtle hand-painted silver coach lining , dedicated new EC1 graphics and the distinctive Triumph badge .
