THE TRIUMPH BONNEVILLE THE CAFE RACER
3-cylinder 500cc 1966-1973 ( 1970 model )
‘ classic ’. Today , twenty-three years after the launch , the bike is still as desirable as it was in 1998 , and it will probably be so for as
long as people admire great motorcycles . It is a credit to the passion and dedication of the manufacturer , and their determination to keep alive Count Agusta ’ s vision . It is worth noting , that little known outside Italy , MV built a moped between 1955 and 1959 , and even scooters with a single cylinder two-stroke motor . Although a long way from the glamour of the race track , small commuter transport was much in demand in the years after World War 2 , but it is unlikely that success on the race track would have any influence at all on those who bought bikes for commuter transport .
