themselves. Being a high school event, many of
the supporters who raced were our bill-payers, so
it was great to see them well catered for too.
Even though there were a few falls and crashes,
everyone had an awesome day and I, for one, look
forward to the club’s next event. The organisers
were professional and welcoming, even being
nice enough to give every rider a spot prize after
their practice rounds. I think it was also important
that they had the sportsmanship awards, which
were given to those who were truly deserving.
Organisers Dereck Taylor (Shorty), Melissa
Stanaway, Sonya Condon and Muzza Swann all
agreed, “As organisers we couldn’t have done
any of this without the generous support of our
sponsors, both locally and nationally. As we have
attended and supported school MX events over
a number of years, it was great to host an event
here and we are looking forward to many more.”
Congratulations to the school teams
