BMW MOTORRAD DAYS IS BACK

Back for 2022 after a two year hiatus , the world ’ s largest BMW Motorrad meeting is set to be held in the German capital for the first time this July . With Kiwis itching to get out and see the world and European borders open , the BMW Motorrad Days festival in Berlin looks like a great place to start your travels .

The 20th edition of the festival will take place over July 2-3 at Berlin ’ s exhibition grounds , and it ’ s a location that makes a lot of sense . Berlin , after all , has been the heart of international BMW motorcycle production for 53 years . “ We believe Berlin is the perfect place for the BMW Motorrad Days ,” says Dr . Markus Schramm , Head of BMW Motorrad . “ As an international city offering a rich cultural experience , a wide range of excursions in the surrounding area and a unique lifestyle , the capital of Germany has everything it takes to make the BMW Motorrad Days even more diverse and attractive .” To keep BMW fans entertained over the event , BMW has arranged for current bikes to be on hand , stunt riders to show off their skills , plus the option to take any bike in the current BMW Motorrad range on a test ride around the streets of Berlin . With Berlin hosting for the first time , this has also opened up the option to take a tour within the BMW Motorrad factory itself . There ’ s plenty going on at the 2022 BMW Motorrad Days , so if you ’ re planning on skipping town for a winter escape , put Berlin on your list of places to go .
