DUCATI WANTS TO SELL WHAT NOW ?
Ducati has announced a bold new step into the digital world , with the Italian icon set to offer new Web 3.0 digital experiences thanks to a partnership with NFT Pro . Ducati has already been at the forefront of the industry when it comes to using the digital world to showcase its bikes , with the Ducati World Premiere series of the last two years the most obvious example of this . The partnership with NFT Pro , however , looks to take Ducati further into the digital world with upcoming projects to be deployed including the use of Blockchain , the same technology behind cryptocurrencies and Non- Fungible tokens which have both recently gone somewhat mainstream with varying degrees of success . “ Entering WEB 3.0 is another way to get closer to the Ducatisti community by further extending the number of services offered to them ”, says Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali . “ It also represents an opportunity to meet and
make ourselves known to a new community of NFT enthusiasts , giving them the opportunity to live unique Ducati-style experiences and collect the digital assets that we will develop exclusively for this new dimension of the brand .” Over the next few months , a series of WEB 3.0 activities will be developed through the creation of new digital aggregation spaces , NFT collections and opportunities to participate in the new activities typical of the WEB 3.0 universe , already relevant in the cryptocurrency community . While Ducati is yet to disclose just what will be on offer , we ’ re thinking it will be likely they will release a range of limited edition NFTs ( essentially unique digital artworks ) based on the Ducati experience .
