special effort or technique to get the most out of it . The engine sounds great too with an exciting throaty yet civilised roar from the sporty tail pipe and very well tucked in collector .
CLASSY HANDLING As a naked sports bike with sticky Pirelli Angel ST 120 / 70-17 and 185 / 70-17 rubber , you might expect the Benelli to perform in the turns . And it does . It turns quickly in a neutral , predictable fashion with no surprises and yet remains confidently stable . I enjoyed its balanced and agile feel . Of course , quality suspension has a big bearing on handling and here the 752S is somewhat of a mixed bag . Very stout , non-adjustable Marzocchi USD 50mm forks with 130mm of wheel travel grace the front end . While the rear has a budget-looking single shock with step preload adjustment only and 60mm of shaft travel , which I guess will equate to around 120mm of wheel travel . Though barely adjustable , the suspension action is actually very good . I rode on a good mix of rough , twisting backroads along with well surfaced main roads and I have no real complaints , particularly considering the very reasonable price of $ 13,490 . In general , the suspension was nicely firm , well controlled and comfortable . Hauling it all to a stop , there are some pretty serious Brembo brakes . At the front there are twin discs with four-piston calipers , and a two-piston caliper at the back with a 260mm disc . Dual channel
