THE BMW M1000RR YOU CAN AFFORD

For most of us , BMW ’ s class leading superbike the M1000RR is simply out of our financial reach , at least in full size form . But as of January 1 , BMW has a more affordable option available , with the Technic BMWM 1000RR going on sale worldwide . While it may be lacking somewhat in terms of speed , inline-four power and the simple ability to get on it and click off blistering fast times at the local track , the Lego Technic M1000 R still brings some fun factor to the table . In the box are 1920 individual pieces which ( slowly ) come together to create the impressive 1:5 scale replica of BMW ’ s 212hp crowning glory . That means once its all together you ’ ve got your own M1000RR , which just so happens to be 45.5 cm long ... The LEGO version even features functional components including a threespeed gearbox , upside-down fork and the rear swingarm with suspension , as well as a dashboard with three different display options and a gold-coloured drive chain . The kit also includes a paddock stand and pit board to help give your desk a racy flair . “ It ’ s been so much fun getting underneath the skin of such a significant model for BMW Motorrad ,” says LEGO designer , Samuel Tacchi . “ There ’ s a reason why these beautifully engineered bikes are so universally loved by the biking community , and we are confident our LEGO Technic version is a winner like its real-life namesake .”

The LEGO Technic BMW M1000RR is available exclusively in LEGO stores and on http :// www . lego . com / BMW , with stock expected to reach other retailers from March 1 , 2022 . Pricing has been confirmed as € 199.99 ( about $ 333 ), so , while it ’ s much more affordable than the real deal , it is still a premium priced product .
