MotoGP classes got going pretty much out of the
gate. The domestic Superbike and 300 Supersport
classes gave a more spread out range of pace
to put the blue-riband class into perspective.
As the weekend progressed, things got a little
cooler and the occasional shower tempered the
growing buzz that normally permeates MotoGP
weekend. In between showers, though, there
were nuggets of top class action, as well as the
Air Force Jets, jolting spectators to look skyward,
and the BMX stunt show mixing things up.
The cooler temperatures were catching
competitors out though. Come the close of practice
and morning warm up on Sunday, the conditions
