TRIUMPH WINS BAJA ARAGON

Triumph ’ s new lineup of dirt bikes may still be under wraps , but the British manufacturer is putting its best foot forward and taking on dirt events like never before ( well since the 50s and 60s anyway !), with one of its adventure line-up . The latest Triumph to take on dirt competition is the Tiger 900 Rally Pro , which has taken on the Baja Aragon in the newly formed Trail category with five-time enduro World Champion Iván Cervantes behind the bars . “ I am discovering a whole new world for me as a result of starting to collaborate with Triumph ”, Cervantes said prior to the race . “ After years riding in high-end Enduro competition , new challenges arise for me , and when I heard about the premiere of the new Trail category to participate in the Baja with

Triumph I thought : Let ’ s go for it !” Cervantes ’ entry into the Baja Aragón follows his commanding performance on the Tiger 900 in the Maxi-Trail class at Bassella , where he dominated the field from start to finish , taking the chequered flag 25 seconds ahead of his closest competition . Riding for the first time in the newly formed Trail category , Cervantes put the Tiger 900 to the test in a series of timed stages through the Aragón region ’ s searing temperatures and challenging terrain , competing alongside purpose-built race machines . To celebrate this historic moment , the Tiger was hand-painted with a unique new ‘ Baja Aragón ’ race livery , adding to its aggressive attitude and style . After riding across more than 450km of the
