The 2021 Beta 200 Racing is equipped with KYB forks , which are valved and set up from the factory perfectly for enduro riding and can handle most of the harsh terrain that gets thrown at it . Riding Mark Fuller ’ s RR 200 Racing , which is unmodified , I was reminded how much I love the plushness and great feedback the Kayabas provide , making log hopping and tight riding a blast . I found that for fast paced XC races
( and being a bigger and taller than most ), the suspension is too soft , over exaggerating big wallows and rough , whooped out farmland . I changed the springs on my own Racing from a 5.2kg ( stock spring rate ) to a 5.6kg spring rate in the rear and stiffer springs in the front forks . Using the online suspension calculator that Race Tech provides , I was able to create a setup that is equivalent to what I would run for a GNCC-style race in
