Then returning to the clubrooms afterwards for refreshments, and lies. The annual swap meet is postponed until 2021, although there’s still action aplenty with a MotoTrials demo day at Lake Kimihia Park, near Huntly, on Monday 26 October. To celebrate the clubs milestone achievement in 2020 the Waikato Art Museum will display the HMCC club’s donated artwork from the 1970s Founders Theatre road race profits. Interested folk can see these now valuable art works, bikes and memorabilia from November 28 to February 8, 2021, at the museum in Hamilton. Prominent current and former members include MotoGP Race Director Mike Webb, multi-NZ Superbike champion and Britten rider Andrew Stroud, plus four-time world champion and two-time Isle of Man TT winner Hugh Anderson.
