Then slip your hands into the grip / tactile pocket and the glove feels much less bulky and gives far more feel for the throttle and levers . I have heated grips on one of my bikes and this is my preferred option of the two . The heated grips keep my palms and fingers toasty from below and the extra insulation on the tops of my fingers keeps the windchill down . The D30 knuckle armour is soft , so doesn ’ t create pressure points on the knuckles when your hands are clenched around the bars - this has been an issue for me with many gloves with hard knuckle armour over the years . I really like that these gloves have been designed to be used with smartphones and navigation units like Garmin etc . The index fingers have a conductive material on the top , so there ’ s no more stopping to take off a glove to change the map . The first thing which annoyed me was the amount of labels inside the glove - they ’ re
annoying , so just cut them out . Believe me , it ’ s a wonderment how something so small can be so annoying . Another small thing is the wrist strap , which helps the glove being pulled off during a crash , is too long , only just securing the glove properly on my wrists . Maybe I ’ ve just got weak / skinny wrists from too many years of typing ? It ’ s possible . This is a gauntlet style glove , which is best for going over a jacket , so make sure the jacket / glove interface works for you . I know plenty of people who prefer the glove to go over the jacket , but I ’ m firmly a glove under the jacket kinda rider , and it ’ s a bulky fit on some jackets with slim wrist openings .
