SUZUKI TOPS FIRST QUARTER SALES RESULTS

I t ’ s a little hard to believe that we ’ re already over ¼ of the way through 2021 , but here we stand and the bike industry appears to still be charging along following a recordbreaking 2020 . In total , new bike registrations for the first three months of 2021 exceeded 2020 figures with 2217 motorcycles hitting the road and 584 new mopeds . That ’ s 378 new motorcycles and 53 more mopeds than last year . While these numbers both are up on 2020 , it ’ s hard not to be wary considering March and

April were hard times for dealers last year in the wake of the first nationwide Covid-19 lockdown . Leading the way in terms of sheer volume is Suzuki with 85 examples of the GSX250R and 79 DR650SEs hitting the road so far this year . KTM ’ s 390 Duke rounds out the top three with 48 registrations .
