OFF ROAD OPTIONS
For the 2020 Vietnam Tour, By The Backroads has added an off road option for those who want to up
the ante a little…or a lot. Mike and the Vietnamese crew will be looking to include as many trail riding
options as possible to add to the route, weather permitting. Suitable bikes available are CRF250L’s
fitted with knobbly tyres.
OR TAKE THE SCENIC ROAD ROUTE
If riding off road isn’t your thing then you can opt for the very scenic road route, which is just as
interesting, just a lot less challenging on the riding front. Sometimes the group will ride together
and when there is a split enough crew is available to accompany riders on both routes.
FORMULA ONE HANOI
There is the option to stay on after the tour and witness Vietnam’s first Formula One Grand Prix
with a race on a street circuit in Hanoi in 2020. For F1 fans the timing is perfect as it is on Sunday
April 5 – just two days after the motorcycle tour finishes. Mike and Angela say they’ve secured
excellent accommodation for any of their customers who wish to stay on for the race – no small
feat in a city that has no hotel accommodation remaining during the Grand Prix.
