Silky-smooth big bore Limited Edition Classic on sale

Since their release in 1998 the CB1300 and CB1300S have remained true to their traditional big-bore road-bike roots. Under the skin though much is new millennium about the two street machines which now sport many silky smooth component enhancements demanded by today's riders.

A decade on though it's time to celebrate the longevity of this true naked mile muncher, with two Special limited editions; the CB1300 Black/Blue Retro and the CB1300S Black Classic. This is the last chance to purchase one of these high torque all-rounder's as 2009 will be the last year of this models production run. It's replacement will not be available until 2011 model year.

This model features suspension rebound and preload adjustment up front to suit riders of all heights, with the protector blades for the 43mm sliders being a useful addition. The rear is conventional twin shock with piggy-back reservoirs also with preload and rebound options. Overall the package comes set is on for soft touring, but adjustment soon sports things up a bit.

The CB1300 family has strong following across the world, mainly due to it's low centre of gravity, slimline panels and accommodating seat height giving riders confidence to make the most of the performance and the inspiring high-performance four-pot brakes.

The 2009 special 'all black' models are limited to only ten CB1300 and five CB1300S for New Zealand, only just enough for the 'All Blacks' team if they wanted to have them, let alone the whole Kiwi bike market.

Apart from the two-tone black metallic paint jobs, the feature statement of the bikes is an imposingly stark, black engine with bare aluminium and chrome details and also a high-tech blue backlit instrument panel.

Both CB1300 models are refreshingly simple, yet offer adrenaline filled riding for anyone who's willing to tame this naked beast!
