Another great day at Naike and Ian Smith's fabulous property hosted some spectacular racing action.
'Dry & dusty' was the pre-race prediction and from looking at some of the competitors after the race - it was an accurate prediction.
The circuit was a 17km mostly mown course that according to Steven Croad 'provided a variety of challenges' for the large field.
Whibley's KXF450 looked like it was eating the terrain and he had a comfortable lead at the end of the first lap that he held till the checkered flag.
Mark Penny finished 2nd on the Suzuki RMZ450 and put in another strong and occasionally spectacular performance to hold the series lead after 2 rounds.
He sits on 47 points, ahead of Phil Singleton (Honda CRF250) and Luke Ramsay, who was still spitting about his 10th place in round 2 when I tried to interview him post race.
'May as well have gone on a *&^*@#$@ trail ride, I went that slow', as I turned the camera down.
31 points sees his Kawaski KX125 tied for third with Mitchell Neild's Husqvarna TC570 and Chris Singeltons BMW GX450 holding fifth with one round to run.

KR's Callan May on his Yamaha YZ125 recorded the round 2 victory and sits equal with Boyd Carlson's Suzuki RMZ250 on top of the series leaderboard with 47 points and one crucial round to run.
Dion Sheely (Kawasaki KXF250) 33 points and Cam Downing (Kawasaki KX125) 28 will be hoping they can put a stamp on proceedings as well.

Our KR Kid Liam was in fine form as well.
